Giles Goodwin is the CEO and Founder at Flite. Giles has over 14 years experience in building innovative software products and managing computer technologies. Prior to founding Flite, Giles was Chief Portal Suite Architect and Director of Engineering at Vignette, a global content management company, where he was responsible for the management and development of composite application and web services technology. Prior to his role at Vignette, Giles was the Director of Engineering at Epicentric which was acquired by Vignette. Prior to joining Epicentric, Giles was the Lead Developer and Architect at Application Park, an online web application builder and portal company which was acquired by Epicentric.

Giles holds a BS in Physics from the University of California at Riverside, where he is currently a member of the Dean’s Board of Advisors for the university’s College of Natural and Agricultural Science.

George Penston is the Vice President of Product & Design at Flite. With over 15 years of interaction and product design experience, George was one of the first employees to join Flite. Prior to joining Flite, George was the Lead Interaction Designer for Digitas helping companies such as Sephora, Safeway, and Microsoft with their online experience designs. Before his role at Digitas, George was the Senior User Experience Designer for Vignette, responsible for the UX design of one of their major products, Application Builder. Previous to joining Vignette, George was the Interface Developer for Studio Archetype/Sapient.

George holds an Associates Degree of Arts in Visual Communications from the Art Institute of Atlanta. After four years as contributing editor for CreativePro.com, an online resource for creative professionals, George went on to author his first book, Adobe Creative Suite 2 How-Tos (Adobe Press, 2005).

Barb Lyon is the Vice President of Business Operations at Flite. She leads our client services and G&A; teams. Barb has over 16 years experience in building teams focused on client-centric operations. She has also worked as a consultant helping businesses streamline their business operations and improve client experiences.

Prior to Flite, Barb led the Professional Services team at Exponent Partners; a firm specializing in optimizing business processes within the Salesforce platform for nonprofit organizations. Barb started her career of running operations at FedEx where she quickly advanced to the role of Managing Director prior to her departure for the new frontier of technology startups.

Barb has a Bachelor of Arts from University of California at Santa Barbara, and a California Secondary Education teaching credential. In addition she is a certified mediator from the San Mateo County courts.

Chris is a Digital Media Executive who has built large sales organizations and specializes in integrated advertising campaigns focusing on brand engagement. He has worked with many of the world’s most successful brands across numerous verticals; including entertainment, gaming, retail, wireless, technology, auto and consumer packaged goods. Most recently, he was in charge of brand advertising for TrialPay, a Silicon Valley based company specializing in value exchange advertising and the social gaming vertical. Prior to that, Chris ran global sales for Gaia Online, a leading online community targeting teens and young adults. He started his digital career running global sales for NeoPets, the popular virtual world/social network acquired by Viacom (MTV Digital) in 2005. He has spoken at numerous industry events targeting digital media and social gaming, as well as being quoted in numerous trade publications on the subject of brand engagement and Immersive Advertising. Chris earned a BS from Michigan State University.

Matt Peake is the Senior Director of Engineering at Flite. With over 14 years of experience in the software industry, Matt joined Flite in 2011 as Director of Quality and Release Management. Prior to his role at Flite, Matt worked for RelayHealth where he lead Quality Assurance and Production Operations. Before joining RelayHealth, Matt managed Quality Assurance for Vignette. Prior to Vignette, Matt served as leads for Quality Assurance teams for both Epicentric and Embark.

Matt holds a BA in Politics from the University of California at Santa Cruz.

Chris Krueger is the Vice President of Finance at Flite. Chris brings more than 15 years of extensive financial management and accounting experience to Flite. Prior to joining Flite, Chris held several senior finance positions at Avid Technology, including managing the Finance & Accounting group as Senior Director for Avid Audio (Digidesign, M-Audio & Sibelius). Prior to Avid, Chris held various finance positions at Infineon Technologies (formerly Siemens Microelectronics), including Business Unit Controller for Network IC’s. Chris started his career at Mahle GmbH, a worldwide engine component manufacturer, as part of the financial management trainee program.

Chris graduated from the University of Michigan and earned his MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, a graduate school of Middlebury College.
